God this game has consumed me this weekend. I've ignored the DS, the Wii and even the Dreamcast for three days to give it a proper road test, (in other words), to put some serious time into Fighters Megamix.
What a game! I'm gonna post a proper review of this game soon... Until then, enjoy the video of this stand out Saturn legend... Yu Sazuki I love you! AM2, you rock! Saturn... Best console of all time!
Probably the best 3D fighter for the Saturn. I mean, you have Virtua Fighter, Fighting Vipers and the car from Daytona. What more could you ask for?
ReplyDeleteI love how in the first match in that video P1 was losing and then just pulls out a gun and shoots the other fighter to win.
ReplyDeleteKick ass.
I gotta post an article about Battle area Tos. SE.
yeah the fecker cheated.... (shows fk the marquess of queensbury ruling on illegal use of firearms...)
ReplyDelete..but damn it looked fine...
I kick ass with Candy. My mate and I used to play this game to death in Hyper mode.
ReplyDelete(looks at queensbury rules)
ReplyDelete...Holy crap!
It says here that the Tiger Uppercut and using rollerblades while fighting are also banned!
It's not really clear on the whole "fighting car" thing though...
..err no, i've got a second hand copy of the rulles and it appears the pages referring to the fighting car rules has been removed.... they should really reconsider the tiger uppercut though....
ReplyDeleteMy original file of this game had about 70 hours pumped into it (I even unlocked the meat and AM2 palm tree characters!)...that is until my battery memory run out ;_;
ReplyDeleteLuckily I have a memory cart to save it on now.
I should have known you were a Master at this game G-Man! the AM2 Palm Tree is just a legend... Isn't it? Could you be 'the one' of Fighters Megamix?
ReplyDeleteAccording to the Queensbury Rules (Moss Side edition) it's quite OK to pull out a gun and shoot someone who'd kick your arse, in a cowardly and shit house way...
ReplyDeleteBoth the Meat guy and Palm Tree are actually just different models for the green bean guy and that darn floating bear thing from Fighting Vipers. Not really worth playing the game 70 hours over 3 years for really!
ReplyDeleteI would suggest it was worth every second! I aspire to your dedication to the game G-Man!
ReplyDelete:)
Brilliant show!!! That is definitely one I need to look into. Just bought TR:Anniversary, and can't get it to run properly, so I definitely need something fun to keep my mind off of it. ^.^
ReplyDeleteHey Hex! So good to see you here!
ReplyDeleteYou can pick up Fighters Megamix for peanuts here in the UK (where are you BTW?)
I'd say it was a 'must have' for the Saturn! I promise I'll write a full review soon!
Brilliant phrase and it is duly
