Whilst browsing YouTube for random Sega Saturn videos I found this little video. User "Mangatron8Zonaretro" uploaded an excerpt from the Anime series "You're Under Arrest!" and it shows how some character from the show repairs / mods a Sega Saturn. Too bad there are no subtitles available and it's a mystery to me, what the girl is saying, whilst looking at the moon. Probably something like "Damn, that Sega Saturn sure is a great console!" It's nothing too extraordinary and the scene is quite short, yet every Sega Saturn appearance is welcome.Go, check it out here!

ReplyDelete"I know little spanish, but I think she says "Tonight it's full moon" and then, literally, "Attention, ready, now!". A more appropriate translation would be something like "Ready, set, go" or something."

I love it! Good job Nebacha translated though... I read it as "I'll trade my daughter for your oxen, if I can have a long look at your melons..." Must brush up on my Spanish...
ReplyDeleteI remember also seeing a character play a Saturn in the anime Evangelion, with a clear shot of the controller with Sega logo. In that case it was an obvious plug as Sega were making Evangelion games at the time..
