New "Mission Stick" Flightstick Controller pics.

A few thoughts on the new Saturn Controller I bought...

1. - It doesn't work on a whole bunch of games. However it's perfect for the flight sims and especially sweet for helicopter attack games like Black fire. Since I have no copy of Panzer Dragoon I can't say how good it is for that game. ThunderStrike 2 works pretty well.

2. - It's HUGE. With a crapload of buttons. I got no clue if any games actually take advantage of all those buttons. What a cool setup for the tip! A slid thumb controller... Pretty damn nifty for using two different types of weapons or switching between weapons. The stick itself is nice and responsive.

3. - It's pretty damn expensive for one that hasn't been beat up. I paid $20 USD and for the casual gamer who isn't gonna collect all the games that this controller works with then I think that's in the correct ballpark.

Too bad there's so few games that support it, cause it really seems like a good peripheral.

Wow...I've never seen one of those. I only just got my hands on the Saturn Arcade stick recently, after never seeing it ever for years.

I would almost have rather run into the arcade stick since this controller doesn't work with many games. Still a decent buy and it works awesome for the games it is compatible with.

I saw one of those cheap but thought there was something missing, didn't think about reversing the joystick

Wow Caleb! You're truly blessed! Jesus! I never even heard of this and you've got one! And thanks for keeping the SJY alive while I was away... I did hope to have a Virtua Cop (Saturn) vs. Virtua Cop Elite Edititon (PS2) review to post on the SJY... But I was scuppered!!!

More on that theme later!

Until then, its great to be back! :)

Well, maybe I can do that! I just bought a G-Con 2 for my PS2 and that's one game I'm after. If I manage to find it somewhere I can write a review. The comparative will have to wait, though, for I still don't have a Saturn light gun...

I just got Soviet Strike and I wish I had this bad boy for enhanced Commie Annhialtion... except I'm not sure the Commies are the bad boys...

Is there a Coalition Forces Strike title available for the Saturn? I'm an Anarcho-Syndicalist at heart... :)
