Ooh, Michael!
Michael Jackson, self-proclaimed king of pop and alleged king of illicit affairs with young boys, is selling off his extensive collection of arcade games and video game systems to pay mounting legal expenses and other debts. One of the items on the auction block is this Sega Saturn kiosk, priced at a fairly reasonable $100-$150. Granted, you could probably get a Saturn without the stand and picture of Sinaed O'Conner for at least a third of the price, but it's not about the cost... it's about owning a little piece of rock history. Just be sure you take some bleach to this kiosk, so you don't get the little pieces of rock history you don't want.
Aren't you glad I took a several month hiatus from The Saturn Junkyard, only to come back and post something incredibly tacky and tasteless like this?

That would look pretty good in my living room. Honestly, I'm pretty surprised that anything to do with MJ costs less than $500.00. I think that $150 would be worth this set up even if it had no ties to MJ.
Well, Michael Jackson's lost a lot of luster as a brand name due to, uh, recent events. Then again, one hundred dollars is the starting bid in this auction, so it can climb from there.
I bet FatherK will buy it! :D
Wow fuck. That looks great, actually? a) Too bad he really has to sell it. b) Why does he have something cool like that anyway? c) I WANT.
Really, it's nice to see Sega Saturn store display pictures, since they seem to be QUITE rare. I've seen shitloads of N64, Virtual Boy, SNES and other crap Demostations, but only 2 Sega Saturn ones in my life. This is the third one actually and it looks quite sexy with the cool Skinhead O'Connor picture on it. I'd really buy this one, especially for that lousy price...
Damn..
I'd imagine MJ would have quite a few Sega things lying about considering his relationship with the company other the years (Moonwalker on the mega Drive, his approved cameo in Space channel 5 etc).
I remember playing on one of these at the Mall of America in Minnesota way back when. I'm surprised of the price! I'm sure it will pass the $150 estimate.
Don't forget Jackson's unreleased Sonic 3 soundtrack. The master tape is secretly hidden in one of the hundred porcelain child figures up for auction.
Wow! I want it!!! One because it's just inherently cool and two because it belonged to MJ!
Check out this Saturn kiosk that's up on eBay right now. The ultimate Sega shrine.
