I have Dynamite Deka. That douche from gametrailers is way off. The Japanese original was meant to be Bruce Willis/John McClane all the way. Just look at the cover art http://www.segagagadomain.com/saturn3/dynamite-deka.htm

Looks more like McClane than the US version. By the way, I will be selling my white boxed sega saturn wireless controllers on ebay.

That guy's just a humurous douche :) These are not serious reviews, just a quick, funny and often irreverent look at old games

But indeed that guy on the japanese cover looks a lot like Bruce Willis :D

I believe it was a loose imitation of Die Hard that borrowed Willis's likeness and the skyscraper element, but was never meant to be "Die Hard: The Game". Kind of like how the NES Metal Gear box art shows a guy who looks like the hero from Terminator or one of the guys in Elevator Action Returns is essentially Schwarzenegger.

And don't forget Contra, the guy's on the box art are basically Sylvester Stallone and Schwarzenegger

True true everyone. And well said Plushiest.

Wow, I sold my wireless Saturn controllers in one day...they will be missed.

Oh cool, I really like Dynamite Deka. I think they just didn't want to pay for a Die Hard License in Japan. In the US it's way more well known and thus a good investment.

The only thing I don't like about Dynamite Deka are the short loading times in between some scenes. It would have been so much more arcadey, if those weren't there. Other than that: Great arcade beat'em up.

Just bought this off ebay for a fiver. It was a class game in its arcade heyday.

I don't know... DD always felt so stiff and slow. Utilizing only three buttons for combos didn't really help matters either.
