Introducing Segata Sanshiro!

Here he is in all his glory, the slightly scary, yet highly amusing human face of the Sega Saturn. Our unlikely hero featured in a great number of Saturn commercials in Japan. Although a little too late for the Season Of Good Will, this was his first appearance on Japanese TV and I'll try to post the series in order intermittently between reviews, news and the usual bullshit. Sit back whilst Segata Sanshiro scares the SHIT out of some small children... Mind you, they deserve it...They've got that White Saturn I'm after...
Enjoy!

Very impressed with the Saturn Junkyard mate - I was a saturn nut in my day too. Thinking about getting another now!

Awww! You guys....

Wow! It's Tomleecee visiting my site... Who'd have thought that back when I was a humble Dreamcast Junkyard fanboy?

Sanshiro was the solid reason why the Saturn rocked in Japan. That, and it actually got games over there...till 2000!

Btw, his first appearance was actually in a Sonic R ad where he beats the crap out of some baseball kids...simply because there outside not playing the Saturn! Darn kids, going outside..

Damn! I feel for Segata Sanshiro's wife. She must get angry sexed.

Ouch!
Glad to hear from you J! As I was noted by email that I had a comment, I was just thinking you had not been here for a while...

I love these Segata Sanshiro commercials... There will be loads more appearing on the site... In fact there should be three more on top of this one but Youtube seems to be taking ages to deliver the goods at the moment...

Good to hear from you mate... Keep popping in!
