The Saturn takes a Wii!!!!!

HOLY Kotaku article batman!

http://kotaku.com/gaming/sega/sega-fanboys-go-vote-for-franchise-revival-242146.php

Sega is actually running a site that lets fans vote on what games should go on to the Wii.Choices are limited to:

NiGHTS
Streets of Rage
Samba de Amigo
Virtua Cop
Flicky

Right now NiGHTS is winning...But Samba de Amigo should get a real chance!

Please vote for your favorite at this site!As a Saturn fan and a Dreamcast lover I cannot tell you who I voted for...(Except it involves a monkey and maracas!)

The poll is on SEGA's main site...

I would LOVE to see either Nights or Samba come to the Wii. I was fortunate enough to have a wife that wanted one (a Wii) for Christmas and lo and behold, Santa as very good to her. Anyway, Samba is a perfect fit and I'm guessing that Nights could make wonderful use of the controller as well.

Yes indeed, the Wii is perfect fot Samba De Amigo, but what about NiGHTS. Are we talking about the Saturn version but with the Wii nunchuck having some sort of movability to control Night or the long awaited NiGHTS 2?

I have Samba De Amigo, two sets of maracas and the Sega Superstars Eye Toy game for PS2. Plus a Japanese and PAL version of NiGHTs so I guess I've got both covered!

Sreets Of Rage is on the Sega Smash Pack for Dreamcast, so I got that ticked.

I'm holding out for Crazy Taxi...

I have only come across the full Samba game once in a local shop. I desperately want it, but at $100 it's just too much. Especially now that I have a Wii as it takes care of most of the "goofy party game" needs.

Woould be nice to grab it though...

$100? are you talking about Sega Maracas or Cha Cha Amigo maracas?
If Sega then a hundred bucks is a steal...

You can get the Samba De Amigo "experience" by purchasing Sega Superstars for PS2... No maracas but lots of waving around motion sensor fun.

I have just purchased my second set of Cha Cha Amigo maracas for about £30 (inc. p+P) from Play Asia.

If I had a Wii (and I hope to by May...) I don't know if I would be after the full game, but then again I probably would!

I do believe that they are indeed the sega branded controllers. Along with the game. Yes, it's a decent deal (especially for you with todays exchange rate it's like 50lbs) but it's hard for me to justify at this point in my life. I am concentrating on the Saturn at the moment for some reason.

I was actually just there this past weekend and he still has it (I 1st saw it last May). Would indeed be sweet. I forget the name of the store, but it's in Fall River, MA.
